Circle the correct response to complete each statement
1:Only odd/even numbers can be divided evenly by 2. Answer: Even for example 8/2 = 4

2:If the sum of the digits of a number is divisible by 9, then the whole number is
divisible by 4/9. Answer: 9 For example: 18 is a factor of 9 , 9x2= 18

3:A number is divisible by 8 if the number is divisible by 2 at least two /three times. Answer: three for example: 24 is a factor of 8, it is x3 8x3= 24

4:A fraction is written in lowest terms when the numerator and denomanatior no common/possible factos other than 1. Answer: Common for example: 2/3 (two thirds)

1: 2- Well because it has to be an even number, 8 and 10 are factors of 2, 2x4=8. 2x5=10

a) 30- because there is 16 people in total , and they each get 1, and there are 13 chocolates left over.

15: Yanka is teaching a swim class. She needs to divide the class into teams for a relay race. There are 18 students.
a) List all the possible sizes of the relay teams : 4.6.1.2.3.18
b) Part of the swimming pool is being used by another class. There are only 3 lanes available. Can Yanika divide her class equally into those lanes? Explain how you know.
