This is question to number 14 in your textbook!

What is the area of each parallelogram?

a) base 5m and height 3m

area = b*h

area = 5m*3m

area = 15m squared Area is 15m squared.

This is question to number 15 in your textbook!

In the flag of Congo-Brazzaville, the length of the rectangle is 2.7 times the base of the yellow parallelogram. How do the areas of the rectangle and the parallelogram compare? Explain.

Well, the area of the rectangle is b*h and same with the parallelogram both the rectangle and the parallelograms height are the same but the only difference is that the length of their base are different which means that the rectangle is always going to be 2.7 times bigger.
