Probability Question
Problem: A spinner has 4 equal sectors colored yellow, blue, green and red. What are the chances of landing on blue after spinning the spinner? What are the chances of landing on red?

Lucy invited her friends. Kathyrn and katrina to come over at the house to play some games and eat some snacks. They used a spinner of what they wanted to eat. but Lucy doesn't have a spinner with food on it.So they used coloures instead. P(red) chips, P(orange) watermelon, P(green) salad, P(yellow) bananas, P(purple) cucumbers. What is the probability of the arrow pointing on p(red)?

In the flag of Congo-Brazzaville, the length of the rectangle is 2.7 times the base of the yellow parallelogram. How do the areas of the rectangle and the parallelogram compare? Explain.
Well, the area of the rectangle is b*h and same with the parallelogram both the rectangle and the parallelograms height are the same but the only difference is that the length of their base are different which means that the rectangle is always going to be 2.7 times bigger.

I don't agree because if you use BEDMAS:
1.7+6/2
1.7+3
4.7
2.put brackets in the following expression to get the largest value possible.What problem solving strategy did you use? 3x2.8+6.4 ÷ 4
You can do it 2 ways:
(3x2.8)+6.4 ÷ 4
8.4+6.4 ÷4
8.4+ 1.6=
10
or
3x2.8+(6.4 ÷ 4)
3x2.8 1.6
8.4+ 1.6=
10

I don't agree because Annie added 1.7 + 6 first which would make the answer 7.7. She should have divided 6 and 2 then added 1.7 to make 4.7.

Then she bought some jewelry that was 5 bucks each. Then she added all those things together which made 8.75 then she multiplied that with 1.6 because of the tax which made it $14.00 altogether.

I don't think the answer is 3.85 because if you use bedmas the answer is 4.7 my proof:
1.7+6÷2
6÷2=3
1.7+3
4.7
She used a calculator so she put 1.7+6÷2=3.85
