My answer to jenny's question.

The question Jenny asked was:

lucy invited her friends. Kathyrn and katrina to come over at the house to play some games and eat some snacks. They used a spinner of what they wanted to eat. but Lucy doesn't have a spinner with food on it.So they used coloures instead. P(red) chips, P(orange) watermelon, P(green) salad, P(yellow) bananas, P(purple) cucumbers. What is the probability of the arrow pointing on p(red)?


The Answer to the question is: 1/5

My answer is 1/5 because there are only 5 colours on the spinner. When you spin the spinner the probability of pointing on red can only occur 1 time, everytime the spinner is spun.
