Taylor..... I'm going to cover each question with you. First of all, 1) They are the same length, but there is another explanation. Imagine a parallelogram, cut a right triangle out at the vertex of the top left of the right triangle down to the base. Then, transfer it to the other side of the parallelogram which will make it to a rectangle. So, they are the same shape with the same area. 2) Deepa made an error because she measured the side of the parallelogram. She was suppose to put a line segment that will become a perpendicular line segment then you measure that. You did #3 right so good job on that. Notice this is not the answers because this is your scribe post and not mine. You are going to put this information to this post.
