Annie has been asked to calculate 1.7+6 divided 2. She claims that the answer is 3.85. Do you agree?
Explain why or why not
i don't agree because she didnt use BEDMAS
Example:
24-4 multiply 2 + 3=
24 - 8 + 3=
16 + 3 = 19
Another example
2 multiply(4+8) divide 2 - 1=
(4+8) divide 2 - 1=
2 multiply 12 divide 2 - 1 =
12 - 1 = 11
Brackets comes first because it's first on bedmas.
